Default Dragging noise on back of Banshee

I have had a Banshee for 2 hours! Already, about an hr and a half after riding I am getting this loud dragging noise coming from the back. It seems to be pulling against me a little bit and going "kerrrrr keerrrr kerrrr".

Any suggestions as my ATV knowledge is about nothing.

Maybe so...I am hoping not. I just got it today from a guy in WV..he delivered here to NC himself and for a while was great.

It had sat for about 2 yrs seeing as the boy who owned it passed away. Yamaha drove it for 15 minutes, cleaned the carbs and it ran great.

You think I would need the whole carrier, or just the rear bearings?

I would imagine the bearings are just bad/dry from sitting for so long. You could try to clean them up and re grease them, but if you are going to tear it apart you might as well replace them as they are relatively cheap. The carrier should be fine.

Also make sure the brakes are free....if they are dragging you will get the same effect.

I really like the lonestar swing and carrier on my banshee...I had a few headaches with the stock one after a few years of abuse.

The roll design is super easy to adjust. I think you can see the back of it in my pictures.
