Default anyone running a open lid/ stage 2 jet kit on a warrior

What are some of the bad things about running a open lid, stage 2 jet kit, questions about dirt & water issues. I ride some times in the rain and through small water holes not even a foot deep some times. But at St. Joe there is sometimes water everywhere two inches deep. I wonder if I could still ride the same way, and in the same places, with a open lid.
I have a k&n filter already with a stage one jet kit. Power core 4 pipe. I was thinking about installing a stage 2 jet. Any suggestions about this on a warrior.

I hope you are running the Pro Flow or other type adapter, and not just running an open lid, the stock set up requires the lid to hold the filter in place, or it will suck in a lot of dirt and kill your motor fast.
As far as running with no lid, your best bet would be to get the Outerwear cover kit, it is a sheet of Outerwear material that velcroes over the top of the box, keeps most of the water out (if you get the waterproof fabric) and filters a lot of dirt out, while giving you almost unrestricted air flow like no lid. That way, you would be a lot safer running in water and such, wilthout filling your air box with crud. For about 35 bucks, the Motoforce lid has some huge vents in it to get more air in, or you could put some slots or holes in the stock lid.
