how fast is a kfx 400 stock?

 

will it keep up with a 400ex?

 

My buddy is 5' 10" and 132 lbs. and he handles his raptor just fine. I've not ridden z400, but I have ridden many others including the YFZ450 and I still prefer the Raptor because even though it's not the best in every category it's still really competitive in each. It's a great all around machine. Just my 2 Cents.

 

It'll beat a stock 400ex. And how fast compared to "X" quad is what you want to ask. Its really trival what the "top speed" is....... Just cause a machine has a faster top speed doesn't necesarilly mean its a more powerfull machine. Its not top speed, its how fast you get there that matters.

 

My buddy had a Z400 last year when i just got my Raptor. The Raptor walked all over it. Yes the Z400 was fun and, slid around much better but, your pretty much stuck wanting a Raptor when you get better and, yern for speed and, power! My choice is Raptor out of those 2 for sure. not just cuz i have one either. Ride both and, when you choose the Raptor enjoy! BTW, my buddies Z400 is gone and, he has a YFZ450 as of 3 months ago.

i wasnt asking if it could beat it, just asking if it could keep up becuase my friend is getting one

 

for the kinds of riding i will be doling what quad would u recomend

 

RAPTOR ALL THE WAY. Z's are GREAT quads and I have NOTHING against them other than they are underpowered. The Raptor will be great for the applications you are riding in.
