Spark Arrestor

Default Spark Arrestor

I took my spark arrestor outta my pipe on my raptor....does that hurt it any or help it? cause its pretty loud and i just dont wanna mess nothing up

Realistically it wont make a significant difference to your engine to warrant a jetting change. Just remember that the sparkys are required on most public US lands.

It's not going to make it any faster, only louder. And as has been said most marked trails require that you have one. Most of your power is made or lost in the header pipe, and to a lesser extent your muffler design. Some people might even argue that you will lose bottom end torque if you reduce the back-pressure beyond the capability if the muffler design.
