I'm planning on getting a new Warrior hopefully by this Christmas, are the stock tires ok or should I get different ones? (For desert and woods trail riding)

Trust me, the stock tires are CRAP! Do yourself a favor and get Holeshot XC's or some Maxxis RAZR's. You won't believe how much better your bike will handle and hook up. Have Holeshots on mine and love them.

If you plan on riding the quad at anywhere near it's abilities, you'll have to dump the Dunlop slip & slides they come with & get something that will hook up. Hole Shots, Razrs, Bandits, to name a few very good options. For the riding style you'll do you could do a lot worse than the BanditXC, which is what I have run for some time. They hook up really well and with a harder rubber compound than the others tend to give longer life.

yep stocks are crap and they will get you bucked off too. I had mine all sideways on a turn. I did it probably 20 times in a row but on the 21st lap, the tires grabbed some earth which put it in a bind, tossed me straight up. I hit the ground in a running stance doing about 25mph. Did you know... a human can't run that fast? We just don't have the knees for it and a knee cost more than tires and wheels.

If you put new tires on that are different size than stock, does it mess anything up?

Only your gearing, if you didn't intend to change that.
