I'm very tired of my warrior because the quad is so gutless I need something with way more power, So I got to thinking has anyone ever seen a yz 400 or 426 motor inside a warrior because I think that the warrior motor is much larger and much more low tech, so there should be room for it (the YZ/WR motor), But I think that if I could do this the WR motor would be better because it is more designed for off-road use (I think it has a beefed up yz Trany or something like that? or is it just a wide ratio tranny??) I have heard that it is a pain lining up the sprockets or something like that but I would like to know what everyones opinions would be on a project like this. Oh and if this isn't possible then I will be buying a raptor in the spring.

It;s easier to buy a raptor than to build one! The raptorhas a motor based on the 426yz with the head design off of the R6 the raptor also has a better chasis than a worior. Just a little input before you go fooling with you bike.
