WHAT TO DO .my top motor mount is cracked

jb weld lol j/k uuhh take the thing to a welder and have them do it quick prolly charge ya a few dollars tops

from what i've heard the top motor mounts are a common problem, but aren't that expensive to replace if you can't get the old one welded back up. call into a dealer and see what one costs, but it's probably not a good idea to ride it until you get it fixed. I don't know exactly what it's there for, but it has to be there for a reason if it was put under enough stress to break.

I kept breaking my top mounts too. Double check your other mounts to be sure they are tight. I had a friend build two mounts out of 1/4" steel and used thick washers with a grade 8 bolt. Havent had a problem since.

You can get motor mounts on ebay for less than 10 bucks but it is a bandaid. To totally fix the problem, new thicker mounts must be made.
