Blaster vs 4stroke
#2
I don't know which bike is fastest, but I would guess the Kawasaki Mojave & Honda 300ex would be able to keep up with the blaster.
I personally don't have any experience on any of these quads, I'm just going by what I read.

i have raced a stock 2000 300ex and i have a stock 2001 blaster and i win on the holeshot but i had to let off the throttle cause i was ridin a wheelie so he passed me and beat me by about 15 yards because i let of but we had the same top end and mine was only on its first tank of gas as far as a mojave i heard that they were very slow.

mojave is faster than the 250x and i dont think the 300ex is more than 2 mph faster than the 250x and the blaster according to magazines is the fastest which i find hard to believe even though i own one. but the blaster is defennitely the quickest production quad still made that i know of with the exception of banshee raptor and ds650. but im not sure because ive never drag raced one. Ive taken any four stroke could that is stock with my blaster being completely stock that is including a 400ex (off the line) I'd probably even get a better lead with smaller diamter tires not to mention better tires(which i need to get becasue stock sux) and now that i have my pipe.

I ride with several other guys on a regular basis. One of them has a 2000 300EX, another one has a 2000 Mojave. My Blaster will beat both of them in a drag, even before I modified it. The Mojave and 300EX are very close usually taking turns winning. It pisses them off to no end that my Blaster can beat them even though they have more CCs. On the trails it is sometimes hard to keep up with the 300EX this could be a problem with stability of the Blaster or just riding styles. The Mojave and my Blaster are even on the trails, I think this is because the Mojave and Blaster have close to the same wheelbase even though the Mojave looks bigger.

A few months back ATV and 4 wheel action did a test with the Yamaha Warrior, Blaster, Kawasaki Mojave, and the Honda 300ex. They drag raced them on an 1/8 mile flat dirt track at approximately 3000 feet above sea level and came up with the speeds listed below. They included the times as well but I don't feel like typing them all up.
The Warrior topped out with a top speed of 58mph, the Blaster topped out at 54mph the Mojave and the 300ex both topped out at 52mph. The Blaster is faster dimply due to the fact of the midrange and top end powerband. Not to mention that the Blaster is about 50lbs lighter than the Mojave or the 300ex. Blasters are certainly quick little quads. Depending on the type of riding that you do top speed isn't always the best thing though. I ride tight woods with lots of hills. I have no problem hanging with my boy's when we are riding in the sticks. When we get out on the open pasture though it a whole new story. I ride a 2000 Mojave I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 280lbs. So my size takes a little off of the top speed. I figure I'm getting my Mojave up around 50mph pinned. It's certainly not the fastest but I love it nonetheless.
