Warrior not running right!?!?!??

I just got a 38mm Mikuni carb. to replace the stock 36mm. I have a completely stock quad. I finally got the carb mounted right and now when I try to start the bike it won't idle. You have to give it full throttle just to get it started and then the motor just sputters at full throttle. It won't even run without the throttle wide open.
Does anybody have any clue whats going on with my carb??
Is it jetting?

the carb was previously used on a tt500 and 350x motor. Do you think it could be the jets?
Should I take the jets and needle from the stock carb and put them on the 38mm Mikuni??
My dad thinks that something is missing in the carb. But, I think he is wrong.
It seems like the quad will barely run over 5mph at full throttle. Any clue about what else it could be??

idk y u put the 38 on there... put the 36 back on... if it's a stock quad leave it stock... u don't need a higher fuel delivery on a stock machine

no, but I tore apart the intake manifold for the stock carb. to get the 38mm to fit

well I didn't buy an aftermarket carburetor for it to sit around and rust.
look dude, The carb fits perfect, it's just not running right.
if you're gonna be a critic go somewhere else.
My question is simple. How can I get the carb. running smoothly??
