Be carfeul with that post,,we have allot of Banshee riders on this forum. they get mad really easy, over that topic,,the truth hurts sometimes,,, I know it's true, because i have owned a shee and now own a raptor. they are the fastest stock for stock, know doubt, end of story

04 raptor

Yeah, we get fired up pretty easy, but not like the rap owners do. I have seen raptors beat banshees, its a rare occurance when the banshee is modified at all though and sometimes the banshee loses primarily from rider inexperience rather than the raptor being truly faster. If you have a lot of work done to your raptor I 100% believe that you have beaten banshees, but it takes a pretty heavily modded raptor to beat a lightly modded banshee.

Splat I agree when you mod a shee they are faster, but stock for stock, the raptor win's,,, not by much, but they win,,, a modded out raptor is still extremely fast, allot depends on the riders skill, both are great bikes,,,,,,preference and one or two bike lengths is what seperates them in a race

What kind of race are we talking about here though? 100% stock drags on flat sand, the raptor pulled me a little, but when we slapped on some paddles I won because the tires gave hookup that I lost before. The raptor's powerband is better controlled, the banshee breaks loose too easy so if you cant get enough traction you're likely to lose in a drag. Power-wise though, the banshee has been the winner in every stock for stock drag i've done. All it needs is traction to use that power. Asphalt drags would probably give too much traction so the banshee rider might have to hold back a little bit to keep from wheelying, and might lose that one too. Dirt drags arent much better than sand drags, its a little more even there, but the raptor will probably still win, depending on how loose the dirt is. So I guess what I'm getting at is that the terrain can make all the difference.

well me and friend kept switching racing my raptor.. there was two banshees there one was an 03 red and black and he sed he had some "goodies" on it thats all he would say i could see he had FMF pipes and it was jettered. twin air in it but i dont know what else.. the other one was older but worked more, it was white with shaved fenders.. he started in 3rd on grass and raod and got to 6th on about im guessing 600 ft.. or less.. id start in second and finsih in 4th sumtimes 5th would rarley reach top end. and id get the red and black one out of the hole and the other one usually to unless i started in first.. and i just keeping pulling on them. they wouldnt pass me the whole way

04LEbanshee.. i have to say i love that all black shee. i woudl own one if i lived near the dunes or sumthing or in wide open areas. but mm y raptor just suits me better.. no mixing gas, for slow techinal riding, reverse , great for the trail riding i do. and it kills the competion in the drags
