yeah it would be great to have 100+ hp from the factory.. how u ever gonna jump that? u would need the suspension from a sand rail and how you ever gonna drag that u would need a 14 inch extended swingarm.. with a 14 inch ext. swingarm how u gonna motox it? point is.. weather it be for adults or kids.. whats the point? you wanna go really fast on asphalt get a viper or a bullet bike.. u wanna go really fast up hills get a sand dragster.. u wanna go really good in the mountains get a grizzley.. point is ITS POINTLESS

Yeah that's the suck thing if we were to have some super fast quads is that thier would be some stupid people out there that would ruin it for the rest of us that are responsible and have a certain common sense when ridding, not to metion our experience. I agree that you can't go full A$$ throttle all of the time. Just not common or practicle, but it would be nice for those top end speed jonts that we all do once in a while. Yes snow machines are fast and fun,but the are heavier than quads and have a lower center of gravity for those high speed runs. They deal with it much easier. Just for the record I don't know of any snow machine that does 155 mph easily. It would have to be super modified and geared accordingly.

agreed not putting anyone down who has a bike,but ATV are mainly becuz of stupidity.Either not wearing a helment,being high or drunk,or underage for that quad.It says it on the quad...look at the people on the street bikes they go riding wheelies on the roads doing stoppies wreck and kill thereselves....no lets not ban the bikes lets ban atv's becuz kids get killed on them.Not trying to sound like an a$$ but its true,ive had 3 friends die on ATV's and it was all there fault no accident involved.

Let me have all the resources at Yamaha's R&D department for a month and, you'll see what can happen! lol!
I'd have and, all Titanium R1 motor (so it weighed as much as a 1 cylinder engine) in a 450 frame with 2x the suspension travel w/ mini King Shocks, widened out and, lenghthened slightly.
Good Bye! On the dunes i'd jump from dune to dune, on drag strip sit on the bars- blowing a wheelie throught the finish and, on the Moto X track i'd sextuple <sp> the jump sections!
Make it and, they will sell like hot cakes! I'd pay 20k!

What about 5 close ratio gears that it tops out at about 80 in 5th. then you have a high 6th gear to top out at like 100. I ride alot of dirtroads were I just go wide open. I always wish I had a higher top speed for that. So it would be cool if i could just go like 80-90 at low RPM not having to hear your motor screaming.
