Default Gunar tether switch?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help me install this gunar switch? It shows that on the yamaha im looking for a black wire with white stripe. It also says it should be all by itself which it is not. I have that wire plus and all black one conected together. Anyways if anyone can guide me to better instructions? I have the raptor 350 2005 model thanks!

I know nothing about a rappy, but I have a gunner and it comes with the switch and the wire with three ends on it. One end is a ground, that needs to be grounded, probably on your steering post area. The other two wires need to be plugged into(or spliced if you don't have plugs) a power source. You need a test light to find the source. Those wires, if you notice, are the same wire, one just has a male end, and one has a female end. They just made it easier for you, I think. I cut the one off that I didn't need. Good luck.

So if I find the wire, then cut it, I just have to splice one end in? in other words I will be cutting the old kill switch wire and running it to the new kill switch? So the old one dont work nomore?

You need to get more advice from these guys. This is a tether cord/kill switch. My pred already had a wire with a female end to plug the supplied end from the tether into. As for your's, I don't know. I know you have to find a place where there is power, and by grounding this power it will kill the motor. That is what the kill switch is actually doing.

Default Gunar tether switch?

Ok what I did today was take the one wire cut it in half then took one of the gunnar wires and plugged it into one of the ends that i had cut. then i put the other gunnar wire to the other half of the wire. That way the switch is in unison with the wire and when you pull the tether it stops. The problem is that now I blow fuses everytime i pull the cord to kill it. What I have is another kill switch on the bike, kinda like a button it slides on or off. So im wondering if the 2 switches are confusing each other and causing fuses to blow?

That could be, I know on the pred, there is a fuse/breaker by the battery and if you pull the cord out too many times, it will kick out and after it cools down it will kick back on.
