Tmlman....just a tongue in cheek observation.....like it was said earlier. If someone attacked you guys we would be the first to come and protect you asses.
As far as the Michael Moore deal........just one fact of many.He stated that the Bush admin let the Bin Laden family leave after 9-11........HE did not ...the FBI did AFTER questioning them. This was confirmed by Dick Clark and the 9-11 commision. Please don't lump me into the emotional group.Facts are facts........his (documentary) was purely propaganda...nothing more!

I am also a Canadian(formerly from Saskatchewan)Regina the hole.I remember my parents opening a restaurant but because my dad voted conservative...the liberal gov't would not grant him a liquor license..I have an NRA sticker on my truck and everytime I go back to "the hole" they strip my truck to the bones and seem to resent me because i'm a canadian living in these Great United states of America. My relatives tell me the Clinton was the best thing that ever happened to this country and now they are talking up Kerry..Canada is very liberal but not as bad as it was 15 years ago.All of this and more liberal b,s. finally forced us to move to the U.S.A. where we now reside in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona..I own one of the largest manufacturing plants of it's kind in the state and I employ many american citizens. The oppertunities in this great country are endless and I will vote for men like George Bush to keep it that way.(Trying to keep this short). You guys in canada would rather get Al jezera television than Fox news network...whats that all about...I'm not blaming you personally but the Canadian gov't is still 50 years behind.

Kodiak1 .... I know the US would be the first to protect us; thats the whole point of being Allies...no point starting an argument where there is none. But protect us from what...terrorists? You guys seem to be doing a great job of keeping terrorists focused on you.
Canada has different priorities than the States. We find free healthcare and social spending more important than having a huge military. I'll be the first to admit our military isn't up to par; but we can't have the best of everything.
Honestly though, what are the chances of a large scale attack on Canada or the US for that matter. Terrorism really isn't even as much a threat as people would like to think...
Also, noone really hates us(Canada) because we don't make ememies... (Don't take that personally.)
One fact of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911 was that the "war on terror" doesn't have much to do with terrorism. Another fact was that Bush guaranteed the American people that there were WMDs in Iraq(the whole "purpose" for invading in the first place), and to this day, none have been found.
And by the way, many high-ranking Canadian polititians wanted to join the coalition(as did I) but the majority of Canadian people did not...this is afterall, a democracy(ruled by many - the people)
And I won't throw you into the emotional group; that was just a general observation as I read through the posts...

It's worth pointing out that in an earlier interview Kerry stated Iraq HAS wmd's and we do need to go in and remove saddam. It's on tape and coming out of his own mouth. I also found this interesting piece.

It's also funny that he spent only 19 months in the military...4 1/2 months of which was on the battle feild..In his speech last night he talked for 46 minutes on his 41/2 months in Nam and did not once mention his 19 years in the government...Maybe it was because of his suckas$ voting record which will put him in the dirt come election day.

I don't know if the prisoners have access to computers up there in Canada, but when you use one of your guns to defend your family, email us from prison and let us know. I think that you will start to understand why we mistrust the Socialists in Canadian government. I trust you with your guns, why don' t they? I don't think that health care is the governments business. I think that staying out of the way is the governments best job.

Trust me ..their health care system is not that great,,and they pay thru the nose in taxes to get that "free health care" Canadians flock here to get the proper medical attention as do their doctors because doctors up there are not as well paid and their government limits the amount of technology. We have far more equipment and technology here.. My aunt in Canada had some major medical problems and spent more time in U.S. hospitals than Canadian ones. No slam.. I'm from there, but national health care here would not work. I would have to lay off 1/2 my employee workforce just to pay for the employees I had left.If I didn't lay them off..I would have to jack my prices up so high to pay for it that nobody would buy our products thus putting me and many others out of work...Remember..the population of Canada is not much more than the population of California.

I'm glad to hear your opinions; but I'm not defending free healthcare or socialism or anything for that matter.
I was raised to be patriotic, so I'm not gonna to start slamming my own country, even if I don't agree with everything they do.
And I'm not defending Kerry at all. You asked for Michael Moore's facts and I gave you a few.
As for Canada's healthcare system, its worked for me and others I know whenever we've needed it ...

I like Canada, but you made one oversight here my friend. Michael Moore does not have any facts. He's a lieing punk a$$ joker running around trying to get some pu$$y elected. "I Served." I don't give a damn. You servred as a goof and an embasassment. I've not heard one person say it's how you servered, not just the fact that you showed up. Crap, Ive got a much better military record than him, I communicate better and didn't embarass myself in the senate for 19 years. The demos would ****** me up for their party if I walked their old people scaring, hand out giving lack of ethics party line!
Kerry's wife called Ted Kennedy the "perfect Bastard." bwahahahahahahha. That guy is doing plenty to wreck this country after he killed his girlfirend. She was a republican. She married one and made a billion, to spend it on the democratic fool? Pool Mr. Heinz.
