Default 01 Warrior Power Problem

This past weekend I changed the oil, oil filter and sparkplug on my 01 warrior. While riding yesterday I noticed at higher RPMs my bike starts to loose power and cough. Its not bad enough to make a huge difference but to me its very noticable and not right. Before this weekend I have never had a problem like this. Is it possible its the oil, sparkplug or maybe my airfilter needs a cleaning??? Any help would be much appreciated.

John
