HMMMMMM, Pure Adrenaline Rush of power for $500 w/ pipe filter and jets or, 2k for 686 and, 60HP OR, 2k plus on shocks, a-arms, wider axel and, maybe more for the +2-4in swingarm it should have from the factory? I'l take adrenaline!

After all,, I've been riding along time and consider myself pretty good... I don't think the handling is all that bad stock. 2x the power was way more worth the $!

I agree I really dont think the handling is that bad at all and everyone always makes a big stink about it. HOWEVER I have never ridden a raptor with all of the other mods. My guess is once I do though I might change my mind

It's hard to describle how much better a Raptor handles with a good suspension. You don't realize what you're missing until you feel it. I agree though, it's better to get the suspension squared away before dropping too much into the motor.

Interesting. Modding your quad it kind of a to each your own thing when it comes down to power and handling.

The raptor isn't terrible stock but once you upgrade it I thought it was amazing how well it handles. it's dang near night and day. least i thought so.

Handling first......everything else comes later.

Besides stiffenning the front shocks too stop body roll, I have done nothing too help handling on my Raptor. I trail ride and ride WFO 80% of the time and have NO tippy / handling issues. Forget shocks, just keeping the engine running keeps me broke.
