If you can buy DG nerfs for a raptor please do so. AC are junk. Well i hated them and i had them on 2 rappys and both failed and the first one were old but the second set broke before 20 hours of a brand new quad. I went with DG Fat boys and they are the best even bigger tooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

[i]Since the nerfbar was there it just bounced the atv over instead of catching on the back tire and throwing me off. I highly recommend them if ya got the $$$.
Yup 3 weeks ago I was going to fast for a turn and caught a tree with my stock nerf/peg. Bent that in, then the rear wheel hit and bent the axle. had to buy a durablue axle because of that wreck.

yea when i get my YFZ, i know that is one of my first mods. they are great. my brother put them on his 04 Z400 and they saved his ankles a few times. you know it is always better to spend a hundred bucks and buy them, instead of break your ankle and be away from riding for three or four months. if i was you i would buy them

Not to mention nerfs will take alot of the hits if you crash instead of your handlebars or axle. It almost rolls like a ball instead of tumbling up and down roughly.

AC have some serious fitting issues on many applications.

DG and Graydon make some very nice nerfs. I'm not sure if Graydon has released a set for the yfz yet though.

Our experience has been quite the opposite. The two sets of DG nerfs I have installed were the biggest pain in the rear I could have imagined. Nothing fit right. I had to heat the bars and splay them a bit to fit a banshee and the DG's we put on a DS weren't even drilled close to being right. AC on the other hand has sent us perfectly fitting bars every time and being a hobby welder, I have much more confidence in the strenth of the AC welds. The last set of DG's we got looked like they had been mig'd on the center attachment bar instead of tig'd like they should have been.
