Been ridin for a few years and thinkin bout gettin a new four wheeler. does anyone know which would be better for just trail riding and goin fast through the fields and stuff like that. i was leaning towards the raptor because the yfz is supposed to be for racing but i was also thinking of z400. could anyone help?

 

depends if you dont mind gettin off the yfz now and then get it overall its better. but if u want to be lazy get raptor REVERSE

 

The Raptor is a much better trail machine. The YFZ is sprung a little harsh for low speed stuff. Reverse is also a bonus out on the trail. You can't go wrong with a Z400 either though.

 

I got a question. I hear people complaining about the yfz shocks for trails compared to the Raptor. Then why in the he!! do the Raptor buy yfz shocks off ebay and put on their Raptor?

IMO the Raptor is a better trail quad than the yfz. So is the z 400. Ride a Rappy and z and decide from there.

If you want to jump your Raptor at all you need those shocks. On trails the squishy stock ones are very pleasant though. It's all in the application.

 

Try the 05 Troy Lee PREDATOR...
it got reverse and its fox shocks are amazing...
i rode the 03 model and i was amazed...
the 05 are better so ride one and decide...

thanks guys. i rode the z400 and thought it was pretty quick but i heard the raptor is better i think im gonna go with the raptor. by the way does anyone know the top speed of the raptor?
