Try checking the carb. It might need a good cleaning. My brothers did the same thing where it was running for a while and sometimes it would just bog out and die in high RPM's and eventually it wouldnt start again.

take the spark plug out, pull off the left hand side plastic case cover (case cover, not cam cover), and try to turn the motor over with the bolt thats under there to make sure it isint seized. If its not then its electronic BS.

That happened to my 96 KX 80. The bottom end was shot . I pinned it for too long and the bearings went.

No the bolt turns fine. I hit the start button and i hear it start crankin like its tryin to start. I try to give it a little gas and it still wont turn over. I checked the spark plug and the carb. I just dont know what to do anymore. I can sometimes get it to kick over once and i hear it put over but then it doesnt finish and keeps crankin. Its almost like there is no gas getting to the engine but i checked my lines. If anyoen else has anymore ideas please let me know

This might sound kinda stupid but.... are you outa gas? Cause the same thing happend to me lol. I drove it to on a hill kinda thing than turned it off and washed it. Then when I tryed to start it it wouldn't start then I thought that maybe I got somthing wet and wrecked it but no..... it was out of gas lol. But it didn't look out of gas. Just turn it on the choke all the way and turn on the reserve then try and start it. Hope it helps.
