Default ITP Mudlite vs. Kenda Bear Claw for Big Bear

Lomax, I have a question about those 27's you run on your big bear. I'm looking to go up in size on mine and was wondering what size they are. Did you put 27x10's on the front and 27x12's on the rear (wheel size 12" all around)? Did they rob very much power? was fender clearance an issue? did you use stock rim size? thanks for any info.

Mudlite hands down. Bearclaws grip a TINY bit better in almost everything such as snow/mud....but the mudlites are a heck of allot lighter and wont take as much power away. Bearclaws are like a fricken tractor tire.

I had mudlites on my kodiak they hooked up great.....rode with some guys that had bear claws, they swear by them. We rode through all types of terrrain for a couple of days and both tires performed well. Personally i would go with mudlites.
