Can anybody truthfully tell me if a raptor could beat a predator in a drag race or which is faster.

 

same speed just depends on the rider...

 

They're extremely close. I think the predator comes out just a little bit faster though. My buddy has a predator and we line up on weekends sometimes, I always get the holeshot on my raptor but the predator will slowly creep up. If we switch off, same results. I wish the predator had nicer ergonomics, maybe the 05's have improved.

 

the 05 has some refined ergo's on it...

raptor is faster... i can promise you that. predator might get the holeshot but the raptor will just keep creeping up on it and then over take it

 

They are very close. I can say that I havent been beat on my Predator by a Raptor but have only raced one and he wasnt a very experianced rider.

 

Pred is generally faster... I have raced quite a few of them at St. Joe. I agree on sitting position, your always sitting on the tank and have to take you foot off the peg to use your back brakes.

 

Raptor's are great wheelie machines, but that can pose a problem due to the high center of gravity when drag racing on pavement..only. Any place else the Predator becomes the prey!!!!
