Default Warrior Question. Please HELP!!!

I was riding my 2001 warrior this wekend and had a strange problem start. In 6th gear at higher RPMs it just lost all power and started sputtering when I would apply throttle. I slowed down and stopped and it continued to do the same. After a few minutes of ideling it went away. I rode most of the day which was mostly hill climbing and had no more problems. On the way back once again in 6th gear at higher RPMs it came back and once more i gave it a minute to idel and it was gone. Has anyone out there had this problem??????? All suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
John

sounds like your overheating to me. Before you took off and hit 6th gear, were you slow riding in low gears? Next time try opening your legs and letting all the air hit the motor. See if it still does it. If it does, and you can't figure out anything else, maybe you should invest in an oil cooler.
