Default getting worried help

i bought my 2002 banshee with all the crap on it from a dealer i think its been 2 months now and i havent changed the oil but i need to kno what oil does it take and how do i drain it

Dude..a Banshee?..its a 2 stroke.. no "crank case" oil

well uh i feel so stupid whats the oil with the dip stick in it that oil

Banshee guys can help a lot more than me. I've only rode yz's with no oil injected reservoir. But you cant go wrong using Yamalube 2 cycle motor oil...Does anybody still use the word 2 cycle?

That is your transmission oil...You can drain it by taking out the drain bolt on the bottom of the engine case.. You can refill it with 1.6 us qt of Yamalube4 10w30 or bel ray gear saver or Klotz flex drive 30... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I used Golden Spectro 80w Gear Oil. Works good.

how often do you guys change your transmission fluid?

It doesn't cost that much, so I change it every 4 to 8 weeks or so... Really depends on how much riding I do... The owners manual says once a year....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
