I don't even understand why people even think dyno's are accurate. Some people take a dyno number as GODS word but most dyno's are very inaccurate on there HP readouts because they are made for TUNING the bike not HP readings. I got my YFZ tuned on a dyno that said it was making just over 25 HP...obviously not right. There is sooo many variable factors in a dyno (tires, software, user, brand, and etc.) that taking a readout seriously is rediculous. If you want your bike tuned VERY well do a dyno, if you want a HP readout good luck finding one that will actually give an accurate reading.

A full pipe, filter, and correctly jetted YFZ will NEVER make under 45 HP.

yfz450vs.banshee- it was black

bigbubba if dynos are so innacurate and not for hp readings how do you KNOW that all piped and jetted yfz's make over 45hp wouldn't that require a dyno to determine?? sounds like you are contradicting yourself to me

I'm not saying ALL dynos are innacurate for HP readouts. I'm saying they are made for tuning and the majority of businesses buy them for that and don't care about accurate HP readouts cause thats not whats bringin them the money. Most people take there bikes to the local dyno machine (whereever it might be) which would be a dyno for only tuning and take that reading for the absolutly true reading when it's not even close. OBVIOUSLY you'll find dyno's out there that give good HP readings but it will take some time and a good sum of money. It's an art getting dynos to tell you an accurate reading. I've done my research man...I at least know a little of what I'm talking about
