either way its funny because neither of them "suck". They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Moreso its stupid to even have an opinion on this subject because there is always a circumstance elsewhere that will prove you wrong (I.E. my 01 raptor tranny blew out. Then another guy will say mine never has). So its dumb.
Like i said, i just like yamaha's because they keep my shop full year round. I like my honda because it stays out of the shop.

do the 450's own a 686?
does a 4 cylinder suburu wrx ti own a corvette?
just because yamaha tuned down there 660 due to liability reasons does not mean it cant smoke a 450 in a drag
the 450's are designed for the quick accelerations that are demanded on the track
if you change the gearing on a 660 and race a 450 in the 1/4 mile....the 660 will smoke it
anyway....nothing against the 450's as they work very well....but there is no replacement for displacement
and don't hold it against some1 for wanting the bigger engines
just look at street bikes....I know many friends who race 600's and can smoke the 1000's on tracks with lots of turns due to the better handling and lighter weight...but on the straightaways they get smoked....that does not mean that the 600's own the 1000's in any way

ive actually owned both, and was happy with both. Ive ridden yamaha all my life ever since i was old enough to say ride, ive been riding. I started out on yamahas and then bought a 250X and i loved it. now i have a warrior and i like it alot too. I would definately have to say though that they are the top 2 manufacturers in the industry though....hands down. Although with their new line ups, i would have to say that yamahas line up is more appealing to me though.
