When you sell your quad...

How do you go about letting someone try out the quad? I was thinking of selling one of my four wheelers but a bit worried about the boneheads that arent serious, or the ones who try to hurt it. I remember selling my first quad about 10 years ago, it was a bayou 220 and 2 older guys came to look at it, they took it for a test drive and they drove it like it was a nascar, needless to say i was extremely upset with this. However, I dont want that happening again. Now, do you let them drive it, do you tell them to go easy, or do you say no rides? I have nothing to hide with it, its just that i dont need something getting messed up by their actions, im very very protective of my stuff. What do you do?

Well, its just the fact that i dont appreciate having someone checking it out, starting it ten times, revving it to the moon, trying to blow it up. 5 minutes or 5 hours, its disrespectful to ones machine regardless of purchase. Im just asking, thats all. Call me extra careful, but i bet there's a lotta other guys out there who feel the same as me.

Money talks and well you know what walks.
I know what you are talking about, when I sold my crotch rocket a couple months ago, I didn't want anyone to ride it. Fearing they would wreck it.
