yeah i love that baby she hardly ever cries either.. if shes hungry she just starts saying "umm umm " then she licks her lips and pretends like shes sucking [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] lol it is adorable

 

it was funny the lady that was putting my iv in she was from england and had the biggest english accent it was funny she all comes into the room ELlo nathan " kud we get some uRIne" lol im like over there then she put the first needle into my vein and shes all "opps i missed lol then she upt the other one in "we get er that time" then she pulled the first one out and it started bleading everywhere shes all yelling into the hall "Lori we need some elp lol

i have a problem when it comes to blood work. i get real pale and weak just thinking of it makes me sick.

 

it doesnt bother me.. i mean excessive ammounts and gore and what not.. that gets my stomach twisted but this was more funny tahn sick because u got the accent lol and she kept seyin oh dear lol i was just busting up

 

I gave blood twice and both times I had a huge crowd around me, holding my hand and petting my hair. Then when I was done everybody clapped because I made it through and they were seriously clapping not making fun of me! It was so embarrassing. Both times I had to be carried to the sitting areaL I’ll never do it again.

 

I had some stones in March. Woke up in the am in pain, felt like someone was knifing me in the side. Hurt real bad for about 1 hour then settle a little, layed down with my knees bent and went back to sleep. Woke up about 4 hours later had to use the bathroom and blood all over the place.. I was freaking out. Went to the clinic and said I had stones and drink a lot of water to get them out.. Man I suffered the whole day drinking water and I thought I have to go to work tommorow. SO The night came and again in the middle of the night pain agian. THis time is more to the front side, the night before it was right on my side.. The stone was going through the canal to the bladder from the kidney. I went to work that am..operating a Excavator bouncing around all day. DId not drink any water all day..The thought was if I dont drink water, the water wont push the stone. Iwas right, it hardlly hurt all day until I started drinking water again..went to bed, in the late night again this time it was right under my belly button..Still going through the canal to the bladder. Then I went back to the clinic so they can check me out.. Took a urine sample and felt like I was pissing razor blades the stone was passing.. I then had to get a sonogram (sp) to see if there was any more.. I still have one in the bladder, has not passed yet.

I heard you get stones from mineral build up..could not be soda since I have not drank a soda in 8 years or so. I hope I dont have to go through that paina again.. I blew my ACL out on my knee, I rather do that again instead of having stones.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

WOW THE STONE.. i talked about when i first made this post.. two weeks ago.. well today i just got back form surgery.. I kept fighting with teh stone and the pain for 2.5 weeks and after 3 trips to the ER. i decided it was time to take it out.. I had the Urologist.. talk to me yesterday and he told me that this owuld be the best route.. so this morining at 10 am i went to the hospital teh started me on a iv. at about 12:45 they took me in and gave me some anestesia and i was out for the count.. woke me up at 1:30 said we got it it was about 5mm then i went to recovery had some percocet some crackers .. some apple juice after about an hour i went home .. and here i am now all drugged up feelin great lol (percocet is the best) so to explain the operation

they put you out
then they put a little tube up your "member" then a little camera follows that and a little retrieving arm they grab the stone then pull it out.. sometimes they put a stent in(not in my case) if teh swelling is to bad.. if they put a stent in its like a little tube that goes from your kidney to ur bladder and they have a string on the end that comes all the way out like a tampon(or so they tell me) and then after a week the grab teh string and YANK it out [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] so.. glad i didnt have that.. BUT

I have vowed to myself to NEVER drink soda pop again this pain is enough to make you quit anything lol but now its out and im good for a while. .they need to analyze the stone and see what it is made of then they can get me on preventative things such as pills if needs be

I heard on the news over the weekend that they have finally confirmed that just not "soda pop" but CAFFINE in general leads your body to creat a calcium that goes to the kidneys and creates stones :
