Opinions on twist throttle for Banshee?

You can remove the TORS to reduce required lever pressure.
Ron @ RB-Designs(.com) will do it for you. He lists it as a $30 additional charge on his bore/plate page, so don't know if he will do it standalone or not. That will get you caps, carb drilled and tapped, idle screws (with locknuts). He has (required) throttle cables on-hand for $30.
Some swear by the TORS (It saved my life!), some swear AT it, but as long as you properly maintain your bike and don't do level-1 teardowns in the sand, you will probably be ok.
In any case, its removal will lighten the throttle somewhat.
Oh..TORS is Throttle OverRide System It limits RPM (like when the park brake is on?) when the throttle is released and the slides DON'T (release/slide shut/down).
You can buy kits from several places to do it yourself. A hint: Place a block of wood in the carb when you drill for the idle screw. You don't want to drill all the way thru the thing!
**edit**
Concerning extended levers: Scott has one (local guy) for a bit over $20. Aluminum. About 4" long. Talked to a banshee rider today (wouldn't matter the quad model, but anyway)..said the extended lever is great. Allows you to effectively use your palm if your thumb wears out.

A BTW...get rid of that OEM filter holder for your K&N!! Get a proflow adapter! (if you haven't already) Or look into an adapter from Mod Quad (Scott knows about them, too). Their complete kits are quite a bit less than ProFlow. I don't know if the adapter is available separately or not. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Yeah, any type of whoops or rough terrain and your throttle control is out the window

When im hitting woops i try and wheelie over them to save alot of bumping around. it isn't any harder, or more dangerous with a twist..

I personally don't favor twist. I've rode a couple quads, none really caught my eye because they were set up with twist. Though I don't ride dunes a lot, I am all over the place, and it's a killer for me on the bumps. So I dig the thumb.
