I went riding the other day (100 KM)and my Warrior is cutting out very badly. I know it is an electrical problem, possibly the park brake switch. Every time i pull the clutch in, it keeps on running. However i disconnected the park brake switch and it does run, but with the same problem(i'm not sure if you can just disconnect the switch, but like i said i was able to ride just like before with the same results). I need to clean the switch and remove any moisture from it first, and then see if that helps. Has anyone had similar problems or possibly something else ?

Is your quad totally stock? It could be a number of things if not.

You could have moisture in your reverse switch. We
have been out in the snow before and the same thing happend to my friend.Take the reverse lever apart and check for moisture, spray some wire dry in there. It worked for us and he said it wasnt the first time.Enjoy

I have a 1988 warrior that the park brake/clutch switch has been disconnected, all I did was loop the two ends back together. Also check your reverse shifter electricle connection, take it apart and clean it very well.

It is a common problem with Warriors that the ignition system gets its ground through the reverse switch and if the switch has a little resistance in it, the motor starts to cut out. Take a wire from the negative side of the battery and attach it with the wire that is on the reverse switch. Good luck!
