Flooding the Yamaha Corp. with e-mail for Raptors.
pipe and jet = has to meet emisssion and decible regulations
wider for cornering = not everyone likes to corner (the narrower the better for me)
performance wise, in stock trim I have never lost a hillclimb to a stock trim ds65 or predator (and I've raced a lot) They have to cut the power way down or people will be getting hurt more often than they already are. Sure I would like to have one that ran much better stock, but for many many people out there a torquey raptor meets their needs. It would be a simple fix if they wanted to but I doubt it will ever happen unless someone builds a bike that blows the rappy out of the water???
