yoshi (kfx) 450 vs. yfz450

MURDR, most of the responses you have gotten have been about something other than what you are getting done to your motor. People cannot seem to read anymore. I think you will be pleased with your motor and you should be able to take a YFZ. I have seen a modded Z outrun a piped YFZ. (And yes I hate to say it he beat my all Stock Raptor too) I would also say that Yoshi 450 is probably more of a MX oriented build. If I were you I would leave off the nitrous, tell everybody that it is stock with a pipe and watch there jaws drop with your newfound power.
Make sure you get it jetted and tuned right and you will have fun.

That video is my brother riding my Yoshi 450. I weigh too much for hillshooting. He beat several piped and jetted YFZ's that day a long with a couple Banshee's and 450R's.
The Yoshi's power doesn't hit hard like the YFZ's. However, the power is stronger in the midrange and has a higher top speed. I'm very pleased with mine and I will be getting the head ported over the winter.

I just got back from the dunes and there was a yellow and black Z400 there that handed my head to me time after time. I have a YFZ baffle out airlid off jetted that runs like they do. The guy on the Z was a 440 with some kind of cams and ported by somebody in Salt Lake area. Sucker really ran, he would beat me up Choke Cherry by several lengths and we raced 4 or 5 times. There was a lot of neat machinery there and I'm writing up a whole detailed thing in the dunes section.

Thats your quad in the video Buddah ..................... thats cool he was dumping on alot of people. How much does he weigh and which side and color is the yfz-450 that he was racing. Also on flat ground who wins??? Oh ,ya one more question who did the yoshi big bore work on your quad.

My bro weighs 180 lbs. and the guy on the blue YFZ was 125 lbs. soaking wet. My Yoshi was running stock gearing as well. On the flat my YFZ get's out of the hole quicker but my Yoshi will real it in on the top end.
A shop in Nevada did all the assembly work on the motor.

THats the thing though, with the way mine is with out the cams and n02 i could still get out of the whole better than my buddys yfz-450. It wouldnt be untill shifting into third is when he would start to pass me. Take in mind i can have killer whole shots, becuase i practice them alot. DRAG RAICING IN MY BLOOD

Motor mods and the YFZ don't mix, I don't even understand why you would want to do anymore modifications, it's got them all from the factory! It costs alot and doesn't gain enough power, I mean comon over a grand for only around 5 HP AND less reliability?! I've never heard of a built YFZ making over 55 HP not running on nitrus or alcohol, kinda sad.
stevendsm95gst: I'd be more than happy to race one of those 470's, I think you'd be suprised how close it is, I'm sure you'll win but not by enough to make it worth the money spent at all.
"Im not trying to be rude. But your an idiot. The dogriders are also a bunch of idiots." How is that not rude? Also don't be so full of yourself and your bike, it's not very cool.
