Default "Please Help" - Stumped on Warrior Clutch Problem

My brother has a 2001 warrior that he thought the clutch was going out because it was slipping. I had him take most of the play out of the cable and it still slipped. So, I had him order a clutch kit. Well, we got it all together, worked great on two trips and now its completely hard again.... The cable has NO slack at all. So we turned in all the adjustments and still no play. Then I had him pull the clutch lever arm off down by the clutch cover and brought the arm up closer. Now we had play again, but guess what??? Still no good. The bike dont take off at all??? Now today we were looking at the reverse lever, we pulled back the lever and tried reverse, it worked but like it was an automatic, you put it in gear and let off the clutch and it does not die, so you give it some gas and it starts to roll??? LOL!! this is getting rediculously odd. So we take it out of reverse and put it in gear and try to go and NOTHIN'. Just like it did before we replaced the clutch. Also, the clutch did not look bad at all when we replaced it. So, we are stumped. This bike was purchased new and never had a problem with the clutch until now. So my question is to all you warrior mechanics - "What is causing this Problem?" It maybe something very simple but we have no clue but to turn to this forum for help.....

Just got to thinking - If the cable was strecthed or frayed it wouldnt cause the bike not to move. The clutch cable was totally disconnected and it still did not move. Is there anything else maybe inside the clutch that went bad?
