testing a stator

how do you check a stator on the atv,witch wires do u check. same with the pickup coil,is there away to check it also.

testing a stator

You check your stator with an ohm meter, same on pickup coil. You need a shop manual or mechanic to tell you witch wires to check and how much resistance you should read on the meter.
