As the pads wear, you will need to adjust the parking brake. There is a bolt on the left side of the rear brake caliper, with a locknut, both are 12mm, loosen the lock nut, turn the bolt in finger tight, the n back of about an eigth or a quarter turn, and hold the bolt with one wrench while tightening the lock nut with another. Roll back and forth to make sure it isn't too tight, and you're all set. If you have the owners manual, it is shown in there with pictures.

With the occasional adjustment and keeping it clean and replacing pads when needed, mine has worked trouble free since 1995, proper maintenence is the key. !!

brake lines are also a big problem...after 2 months i would guess its the brake lines more than the pads...but braided brake lines or whatever they call them...the expensive ones that dont stretch

Fudmucker, sorry to say, there are no grease fittings on the Wolverine, makes getting grease into the critical spots a little tough, myself, I would like to see greasable front axles, driveshaft joints, a arm pivots and swing arm, but everything is sealed, so you have to partly take it apart to squirt some grease in with a needle tip.

I believe the 04's have grease fittings on the front drive shaft u-joints. There would be two of them.

Ride on.
