Do i need to rejet?

Default Do i need to rejet?

Just ordered a K@N filter for my 05 Raptor 350, my question is do i need to rejet for just that small of a mod? I ordered the jet kit also, just incase, but how hard is a jet swap if i need to do it?

If you use the stock lid setup etc... I doubt youll have to rejet. If your worried though, drop a new plug in, ride around at WOT, kill it, pull the plug, and make sure it isnt ashy white.

Ok, i was thinking i wouldn't have to rejet, new to the atv scene, just thought i would check.

also, if u can, send the jet kit back, u can buy individual jets cheaper

If you add more air, ya need more gas!! (That's the whole point, fuel is power) If your filter gives more flow, add the fuel!!!

Is a jet change hard? I bought the dynojet kit fwiw.

Changing the jets/needle is a piece of cake. It's dialing all that in that becomes a pain. It just takes some time and patience.
