im looking to get rid of my 230 and warrior and buy a new quad i do alot of trail riding, jumping,mudding,racing my friends, and putting around idk what to get either the trx 450r v-force kfx 400 z 400 660 raptor 400ex predator or troy lee predator what r the disadvantages and advantages of these quads and idc about reverse or kick starting thanxs a bunch

 

easy answer man, Yamaha.............RAPTOR! your get people who disagree with me but look around the forums for a good hour and your see so many post that haev "Raptor vs. ***" every forum ulook in..reason being because the raptor is everything...great at trails, great at racing, and in my opinion best looking, with a very comfortable seat...beat ur friends at racing and keep up with one one else in the woods...enjoy the reverse and enjoy the torque...best all around quad!

 

if you want something light go with a YFZ or a 450R, if you want high power go with the pred or raptor

 

id suggest just test riding them...cus nobody knows whats best for u...except U

 

I have a piped & jetted 01 Raptor,,,,,the thing is a rocket ship,,,,,no problems,,,,a blast to ride,,,

i think the best alaround quad is the Z400 It seems to b good everywhere.. and prob with raptor is it's topheavy

 

The two choices to look at really close would have to be the Raptor & 05 Predator. Those are the cream of the crop in the versatility department. The Z is nice...but don't half step if you want the best!!!!!

 

give it 2 or 3 years and everyquad will have reverse... *sigh*

 

05 predator. good trial rider, fast, lots of hp. reverse...Can't go worng.
