Default ? about 2001 update tranny

I recently purchased a 01 raptor for a project. I was told that it had the transmission problem fixed by the dealership. How can I tell if it was done? I know it still has the 14 tooth main axle and all the gears have the 2001 number of teeth. Is it possible the dealership just put 2001 replacement parts back in the transmission? Thanks Jack

Yes. Probably did too. Unless the customer specified otherwise.

Do you think that the new parts are more reliable than the old ones? Or did they just simply put in a new replacement that was made to the same standards as the other? It does look like it has 5lp5 shift forks

Nope. The 01 gear problem was a design flaw. Not a material flaw.
