Default Grizzly 660 vs Kingquad 700!!!!!

holy back from the grave post...

Well now that it's 2006, and the 07's just came out... kny660 you can take that kingquad and stick it... heh... I used my buddy's last weekend at The Cliff's, in Ill., It worked well in the ravines... and such, but it's steering sucks on open trails... (maybe it was just his quad) It has a plush ride, but the belt housing sucks up the water too easily, and doesn't get rid of it well... (in fact, I don't think it even has a drain plug for it.)

I'm definately taking my 06 griz back to the dealer to get myself a 07, as soon as they get them in...

There's a reason the Grizzly has been the top selling big bore quad for the past 6 or 7 years... It may not win any shoot outs... but definately does everything you need it to...

I am not condemming the Grizzly because I am actually considering one, but with the success of the past KQ's it has to be considderd.
Let me starty by saying I bought my 04 Griz for a total of $6850 I know msrp on the KQ is like $7199 plus tax , in May 05 issue of ATV action. I recently went into a dealership where I bought my Griz and couldnt believe that indeed the Griz and KQ were actually the same price.I believe if you shop around you can get a Griz for $6300 or so plus tax .The diff. in total price will be between $500 and $800 and you can get yourself some good tires for your Griz and have a good all around quad.I will upgrade some day but I will probably have this Griz for another yr. Im waitng for Kawi to go efi on the BF 650 or 750. I think they will do this in the summer of 07.
