The tranny problems happened at random times and it didn't matter how well the machine was taken care of, they still broke. I wouldn't buy a 2001 if it didn't have an '02 tranny swap.

Did it! Bought the 2003 Raptor. The only thing that scares me is that they just replaced the clutch. It was bought on consignment through a dealer and the dealer did the work. If the clutch had to be replaced so soon, was it being abused? Or does that just happen?
