Default Raptor Baffles Removal...

Hi there,

I want to remove the baffles from my exhaust but I don't see how to do it. Is there anyone here who has done it? If so I would love your advice on how to do it!

Thanks in advance

umm i think you juse undo that one bolt un the underside thru the hole in the endcap and then pull out the spark arrestor core. i my experience with this task i usually damage it beyong replacement

yeah theoretically i ran it for a while without rejetting then i flipped it over backwards and ripped the grab bar off tail light and smashe up the stock so i stuck a full yosh pro on. prolly wouldnt hurt anything to bump em up the mains to 145/150 if you take the arrestor out. they are a lil leane when ya get em anyway.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just leave it for now and save up for a aftermarket exhaust.

go for it man...mine idles better with da baffle out (wtf), i think my valves are offset and thats what my dad said...it may harm the valves with the backpressure but it sounds so much better without it....honestly just give it a try for a ride or two and if u dont like it shove it back in!

I just had mine removed, re-jetted, the snorkle taken off the air box, valves adjusted, and it really made a big difference! LOTS more power.

Ok, sounds good to me. I'll give it a shot. So you say that I just need to unscrew the bolt on the underside of the exhaust and pull it out??
