Back fireing in my banshee,any help??

Default Back fireing in my banshee,any help??

My left side of my banshee is back fireing...I just bought the quad with a bad clutch..The left side has a back fire..Donno what it could be..Any help would be great..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

have you tryed changing the spark plugs.

and make shure you have the right gap.

Yeah.. the spark plugs r new .they both have the same gap for each side,,,but the left is backfirin

how is the jetting in the carb it might be a little off.
to tell take the plug out and if it is black then you might be running a little rich.

Well they have 260 jets in the carbs...i donno if they r too big? the banshee has fmf pipes..

they're too small, go to 300's and it should go away. the backfire is from a lean condition. Keep it up, and you'll be peeling your pistons off of your head.

Hmmm you think they are too small? I was told by othe rpeople that they are too big..
