i am going to change out all the gaskits in my engine, just the base of the cylindar wall up. how hard is this, and what are a few things to watch out for while doing it? thanks-rider1169

 

The way you worded your question makes it very hard to understand. Do you want to do ALL the gaskets or just the top end?

 

If your machine is still under warranty, dont tear into it. Take it to the dealer.

Top end gaskets are about 30 bucks for a kit and are relatively easy to replace. Make sure you get the surfaces clean, torque the bolts correctly, locktite where necessary, etc.

 

ummm.... why do you want them changed anyway?

 

He says he has a small oil leak in the head or something.

 

take it to the dealer then... that shouldnt be your problem... if its under warrenty still that is...
