Banshee reeds?
Get G3's instead, they put those other reeds to shame, they will allow way more CFM than any other reed will even when you're stock,
and REALLY put them to shame when you add an air filter, outerwear cover and airbox modifications. You will have so much more power
everywhere it won't even be funny.

come on now pimp. g3's are better than stock no doubt, but for the price of an aftermarket set of reed cages, you could do some mods that actually add some decent power. dollar for performance gained, reed cages are one of the last things I would upgrade. I'd just buy some boysen petals and save your money for something else. and from the dynos I've seen, vforce reeds are still #1.

Yes, G3's do work that great and can be extremely important in racing. There is no point of having a good air filter and high cfm flowing carb if your reeds restrict the flow. G3's show the most potential out of your air flow parts than anything I have tried..that includes full
esr exhaust and a 36mm pwk carb. The very first thing I did when I installed G3's was bump my main from a 150 something main right to
a 170 and that was right on the nuts for my main...a perfect setting. The next thing I did was drop my needle for my low-midrange and that was right on when I did my runs and checked my spark plug. Now, that was with my stock airbox, lid and just a k&n air filter. What's going to happen when I rip my airbox lid off and do a very beautiful airbox mod to allow the most flow? I'll bet money I will shoot over
180 mains, probably even 190 and will have to drop my needle all the way down. Ask anyone who has used G3's and used them correctly, the gain is very very big and will show the TRUE potential of the modifications you have if any.
