I know of some J.E. wrist pins breaking as well...If you talk to some of the better known builders, they will tell you to stay away from the J.E. ..One of the reasons is that it is so light in weight and they have changed the style on it several times in the last 2 years and the clearance factor to the valves is very very close.I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy one, just that alot of builders don't like them BUT...some builders insist they are fine...You obviously know from experience.Others may disagree but my money is on the Ross piston or the C.P. piston...I am going with the Ross 10.75 to 1 myself.(with a new rod of coarse)

I have had 2 go bad. The 105 mm JE was designed for a Porsche engine. They just threw it at us Raptor owners cause it fit. I believe the reason they crack is the space between the knuckles where the wrist pin connects to the rod is too large and allows for the wrist pin to flex. This also makes the piston stress and fracture. I would go with the CP piston, I don't know anything about the Ross piston. I have been running the CP for about a Year now and have had no probs. knock on wood.

I have ran the JE 105.5 on both my bikes, I have ran all kinds of power adders and n20. should I be concerned? or could samcoe performance have ordered a bundle of pistons for the DS that were made different?. I know there has been an issue in the past with too small of wrist pins, but I caught it before I did damage on my other ds.
What do yall think? Thanks in advance, I wonder if I should be worried.
And I agree, knock on wood!!!!!
