are Banshees realy good bikes?

the raptor has. Literally every time I ride it, if I dont keep it moving it'll overheat. As little as 1 minute (as happened yesterday) in tight trails, that beast is putting off heat waves so strong I think its about to blow up.
as for as the banshee goes:
...and a 2-1 pipe on it..

Go with the raptor..it is your best bet...you will be very happy with it very happy with it and its fast.....the best thing todo is just go out and test drive both of them..at a certain point on here all you here are egos talking.....pick what fits you better..just test them out and see what you like...there is always time in your life to get another one its not the last you are going to get.

stop arguing about what bikes are better and think about were this kid coming from, he wants a quad for mud pits and trails, does that sound like something a banshee would do well in, i really dont. mudsicness has never had a 2stroke b4 so he prolly doesnt know how to do a lot of mechanical work, liek a banshee WILL need sooner or later, 2 stroke topends dont last forever. the raptor is more torquey and reliable with better trail manners. also a raptor is going to better in mud being able to hook up better and torque through. i think that he will be satisfied with a raptor.
its just my opinion, and i have a honda, so im not biased tward either of these quads, just from what i have seen and heard the raptor would be a better choice.
and i dont mean to offend ne banshee owners by this either.

Now, regarding the right quad for your riding application. A Raptor might be the right choice, due to the mud running and trail aspects. You can modify a banshee to have more low end and have a smoother powerband, but stock for stock, the Raptor is going to be much smoother and easier to handle on the trail. But, they're not all that bad on trails if you understand how they make power and ride it accordingly. The choice is yours, I'd recommend that you try to ride both machines before you buy so you know what your moving into

My buddy that i ride with has been beating the crap out of his banshee on
trails for four yrs.Ive never seen it over heat or break. The only prob that i ever
saw was a slow gas leak. This quad is still stock, this winter he is rebuilding for
the first time.If that doesnt speak for reliability i dont know what does.As far as
maintenance i dont think he learned that word till i bought mine last yr.
Have fun when you get whatever.
