Chain adjustment on a Raptor???????

Default Chain adjustment???????

Pardon my ignorance guys... but I am looking to purchase a +4 swingarm for the ol'Raptor but I don't see a chain adjuster on any of the pics....do they even have one?????If not..How the hel! do you adjust the slack out of the chain...?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Default Chain adjustment on a Raptor???????

If the +4 swinger you plan on buying uses a honda style carrier (which most do) the axle is offset in the carrier and pivots to move the axle forward or back to adjust the chain.

^ he is right. If you find a swinger that doesn't have the Honda style carrier...DON'T buy it. LOL That style chain adjustment is almost worth the price of the swingarm.

Default Chain adjustment on a Raptor???????


Here's a picute of the honda swingarm and carrier . the axle bearing is eccentric in the carrier when you losen the clamp section you just roll it back or forward to tighten or loosen

It's the Rad carrier that I was looking at on ebay...I think it said it was a round style for Honda ....I'll check again...Thanks guys[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
