I disagree with blindside the warrior/Raptor 350 has many things going for it especially power as many other things. The 300EX is good in handling and suspention but thats as far as it goes period.

well i got a 1998 300 ex with a full pipe, filter and jetted. have had no problems with it at all, my buddy just got a 05 350 rappy we raced on grass bout 250yrds we both weigh bout 175lbs and he beat me by a quad lengh i do have hevyer tires and his r stock so i would say that the 350 is faster now than to suspention i would have to give that to the rappy it has a resevor rear shock and honda does not and it deff helps on the track i rode his round a 1.6 mile track like 5 times and deff better sus. than mine. now on to trail riding the ex has more bottom end power so have to give trails to honda just cuz you need more torqe for the trail. Now for duribility i say "hondas are bulletproof u cant beat a honda". BUt the warrior has been around for a while and deserve some credit as a very good quad as well so i guess you r stuck with what u like when u sit on them they do feel different ex is more compact the rappy is more up in the air felling. Good luck

P.S. reverce is easyer to get in and out of in the warrior if that helps

get the raptor! it looks way cooler i ride trails and dunes and it does fine (i need a little work) when it comes down to it no one can tell what to get because everybody has their own opinion. take a look on the specs for both and decide from that. see which one you can get a better deal on. if you still can't decide flip a coin

flip a coin is very effective

Also just picking a color is another effective method cause they are almost identical.

I used to like the bottom end for trails when I first started riding, but now I much prefer my top end settings. I shifted all the power to mid and top, and I'm tearing up piped z's on tight and twisty trails. I never expected that from a 350 without digging in the engine. Evidence that any machine can prevail depending on your desire to make it do so.

I don't know about dirt wheels sometimes. I don't think they are always honest when testing these quads in shootouts

To have an honest shootout they should change the tires on all the quads to be the same size and type, that would be a good start. During the raptor350 shootout they had the stockers on each and they claimed the raptor had problems spinning the wheels. What about if they had something that hooked up equally on each? That would be a great start.
