Default K&N Pre-Charger/ Outerwear?

I bought a K&N filter for my Wolverine but after reading on here that I also must get an "outerwear" I called my local dealer for one. But they only sell K&N Pre-Chargers!

Is the K&N Pre Charger the same as an Outerwear?

http://www.moto-man.com/atv.pg go to this site and on the right side look for outerwears and then k&n outerwaers. This is what you want.

Well, if the K&N pre-chargers is the same thing. I guess I'll buy the K&N (I can't find anyone in Canada that sells the outerwears)

Also do I have to re-jet or buy a jet kit?

Now I can't decide whether to add a pre-filter to my K&N or a go with a new UNI. I've heard of some people saying, " a K&N made my quad blow up." I don't know if I believe it, but at the same time do not want to take a risk. Also, how much better can another foam filter like the UNI be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. <B>

precharger is a package that comes with spray air filter cleaner and air filter oil, all you need is the outerwear
