small leak at header

Default small leak at header

a little smoke leaks out my left header, should I be overly concerned?

what would be the best fix and how?

thanx for the ideas

Is the leak in the header itself or in the seal at the engine? If there is a problem with the pipe itself and its a new exhaust or is still relatively new tell yoshi to fix it. If not then a quick shot with a welder should close that hole right up.

If the problem is in the seal then it needs to be addressed. Did you replace the exhaust gaskets inside the ports? Make sure the studs are not crossthreaded and are tightened al the way down.

I am gonna guess new seal is needed as I used the factory seals when I installed new headers

where can I buy some online and what are they called(does 1 size fit all?)

I just got them from my local dealer, and they are pretty cheap. I'm sure you can look them up in the parts section of the service manual. There are online manuals if you dont have one of your own.
