Raptor 80 is a great starter !
Getting one for a grand might be difficult, but are well worth the bucks in reliablity.
They have a throttle limiter and have a 3 speed auto-clutch transmission,
We will be selling ours here real soon due to getting a 350 next........

 

the 80 is ok I would check out some others the 80 has a solid front axle not the most confertable thing in the world

They are 80's, and have always been 80's. Before they were called the raptor 80, it was the badger 80.

You may be thinking of a e-ton VIPER 90. Looks very similar.

 

what would be a good quad for my lil bro that we could prolly get for a grand or less? he would probably be able to handle an auto clutch. he just needs a quad that will last him till he grows big enough for my blaster. i know its quite a step-up, but i think he could handle the blaster in 2 years if he grows some. wat quad should i look for for him, kfx80? lt80?(thats all the kid-quad names i know)
