Aprox 53 to 58 depending on how well it is dialed in...Maddog56 is correct...alot of little factors come into play.Pump gas means low compression piston.

Your best bet would be to do as I did, and contact EVERY well known builder and talk to them about what YOU want out of the build. You can't go wrong with Kenz, Sparks, Craycraft, or any other reputable builder.

On a side note, I think I'd rather have someone with years of motorcycle drag racing build my combo. High RPM multivalve engines are a very different animal from the slow revving pushrod automotive engines that are typical in automotive drag racing. My 2 cents.

Gary660- I think Ryans 730 ( raptorcr) motor is apart for?

1. Bob wanted to see how it was doing
2. Ryan was thinking of upgrades
3. To get rid of the failure prone JE piston ( BTW it had a hairline crack in it)
4. Some secret crankshaft reasearch was going to be done to it

Why is it still apart?

1. money
2. Ryans girlfriend
3. Ryan opened up his own business and has other concerns for the moment.
4. Ryan decided not to take my 2003 raptor in trade

Actually not sure if the first 4 are correct or the second 4 are either. I do know that at the time it was taken apart it was in running order. You park any quad around here for more than 12 hours without moving it, you may very well be missing a few parts. lol There is around 10 local built raptors that always seem to need a piece or 2 or try something different.

That is funny (high rpm) I do not know of many shops that hit the rev limiter now, with there built motors. . I do know that Craycraft has plenty of raptors making power over 10k. If you want to make it to the top first or to the end of the dragstrip first you better be able to spin the R's.

King660r- there are some vids of Craycrafts low comp 730 vs some other builders low comp 727's. They were not prety

Ernie- You are the man!! 660. 686,740 and now a 830 in the design phase.

Thats some major doe ray me for base upgrade. I paid yoshi 1900.00 dollars for my 450 bigbore with port and polish and its creating around 48 -50hp. I raced my buddys yfz-450 that has a gytr-exhuast, jetted and open air with K$n today with about 45mins on my engine and i would beat him everytime. Mine would just pull harder threw every gear. But any ways that is alot of money for what you get.
